Our Story
After missing each others' messages via an online dating app in 2023, our paths finally crossed in 2024. We found ourselves at the Boulder Field rock climbing gym for our first date.
While Stephen talked a big game over text, he quickly realized Julie might be the better climber.
She was.
We've since spent the years enjoying each others' company both cuddled up on the couch and around the world.
Stephen and Julie were married on June 26, 2026 at 6:26pm in front of a small gathering of their California friends and family in Oakland, CA.
...but Stephen grew up in Hawaiʻi, and this place has always been home.
Now Julie gets to call it that too.
We're so excited to share this day with the ʻohana and friends who made it that way.
